Speechwave
Speechwave lets your audience send live emoji reactions from their phones during your talk. The reactions float up over your slides in real time, driving continuous engagement and giving you real-time analytics so you can improve your talk.
The three pieces
Speechwave has three parts that work together.
Audience mobile view Your audience opens your talk’s link (https://speechwave.live/t/<your-talk-slug>) on their phone, or scans a QR code you display on screen. There’s nothing to install and no account to create. They just open the page and start tapping emoji.

Speaker dashboard & analytics This is where you manage your talks. Create a talk to get a QR code and link to share with your audience, then find the talk slug and API key you’ll need to connect the Chrome extension. After you present, come back here to review your session analytics. See Speaker dashboard & analytics.
Chrome extension The extension runs on your laptop while you present, overlaying incoming reactions onto your Google Slides presentation as they arrive, right where your audience is already looking. See Chrome extension.
How a talk flows
- Create a talk in the dashboard.
- Connect the Chrome extension using your talk’s API key and slug.
- Share the QR code with your audience.
- Present. Reactions appear on your slides as they come in, and every reaction is recorded so you can review analytics after the talk is over.
